We are making an effort to present you with our most current information as soon as possible. At this point we can provide you with information regarding Our history of how we started, information for visitors, and information for volunteers . Very soon we will have more infromation for exhibitors, including the ability to download needed documents, we are also developing an Art Gallery with pictures from past shows. FAQ will be updated as we recieve questions from both visitors and exhibitors. The emphasis of our site is on providing you with the most current information regarding this unique and long standing show. In brief, you should know the following about us: our Art Show began 60 years ago. It is held on the first Saturday after labor day each year. This year's show date is September 10, 2011 (rain date of Septmeber 11, 2011). The times of the show are: Saturday 10:00 -4:00pm or (raindate) on Sunday 11:00 am -4:00 pm. We are located in the Historic Stockade area of Schenectady by the wonderflul Mohawk River. Our show is an Outdoor fine arts show that promotes art mediums of paintings, photography and sculpture. All work is either matted and or framed works. We have 112 artist from all over the Northeast. We are one of the oldest Outdoor Art Shows. This is a show for exhibitors and spectators alike. It is a great day to visit the Stockade and stroll the streets. |
